I started dancing when I was 9. Mom introduced me to ballet, tap, and toe lessons. Miss Arlene was my wonderful teacher. She inspired me so well. I continued with Miss Pat when Miss Arlene stopped teaching.
In high school I seemed to choreograph dances every year for Field Day, an annual event we had. I began college level dance classes while still in high school. Dance was my major when I did go off to college, in California.
Dance Therapy didn’t feel quite right. I preferred spending my energy in choreography, dance history, and performance. New York, San Francisco, Paris, Montpellier, Napa, Baltimore, Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, San Diego, some of the places I’ve danced or performed.
